And so it is official: Chick Singer Band plays weddings! We have earned Wedding Band status by virtue of having played a wedding. We could also be considered a garage band, having recently played in a parking garage, but that is a different matter all together and I digress. This musical rite of passage (the wedding band thing, I mean) happened ever so elegantly in a barn, with sunlight peeking through wooden slats, lamps made of old timey milking machines, guests in their finery sipping cocktails as the cows complained softly outdoors, and a fine stage from which Chick Singer Band serenaded the newlyweds. And whipped the well-wishers into gleeful, whirling bliss as the wine and happiness flowed. Children spun themselves into dizzyness, inspired by "Mambo Italiano", then fell alseep on their parents to the crooning of "The Night". Couples became dewy-eyed to "Rie y Llora", a Portugese love song to laughter and sadness. And there was cake. After the final song of the evening, Chick Singer's chick singer broke into an impromptu solo, purring out "Making Whoopee" as guests circled around the dancing, happy couple and finished the evening with a raucus, swaying group hug. Oh, yes. The consensus is that Chick Singer Band like playing weddings. Very much. Perhaps yours?

It's very unique name. Playing music for wedding is such an experience that can only be felt. Keep sharing your experiences!
